Cost effective & environmental friendly catalogue distribution
With ever increasing postage costs, the catalogue marketeer has had to find ways of reducing costs to ensure as many catalogues as possible hit the market. Removing the packaging, be it polythene or envelope significantly reduces the production costs of an already expensive item.
There is also the environmental benefit of reducing packaging waste whether this is a plastic, envelope or paper wrap.
Will my catalogue be safe & arrive undamaged?
The way we produce unwrapped items with strapped bundles mean that catalogues are presented through the mail system flat and well protected in rigid pallet containers. They have significantly less handling than items presented in sacks. This helps to ensure that our clients catalogues arrive in tip top condition.
Can you seal the open edge?
Its not required for naked mailing but yes we can. We have inline options available for all our inkjet lines to tab seal open edges. This is ideal for low to mid pagination catalogues.
If a 40-45mm flap is included on the cover we can seal the cover closed with a peal-able adhesive. This is particularly useful for incorporating the indicia and return address so there is more cover space for you images. Or if extended further can be perforated to include tear of vouchers or response forms.
Can naked mailings use mailmark services?
Unless we seal 3 edges with a tab or wafer seal, then unfortunately not. Most naked mailings can still obtain high levels of postal discounts, especially if mailed on our DMS DSA Highsort Advertising Mail Intermediate Responsible service. The savings of removing the packaging usually make up for not using mailmark.
